Valentia Island Energy has lodged it’s application for an exploratory offshore licence for a renewable energy array. The licence application requires a full field study of every aspect of the project which includes:
- An environmental impact study focusing on seabed and marine life impacts
- An examination of the possible effects of the array on fisheries and shipping
